Friendship

Good morning! It's finally Friday and the last day before Spring break here! I'm hoping to be able to spend some quality time with my daughter. She's growing up so fast and it won't be long before she's on her own, so I'm trying to savor our time together. *sigh* She's my baby so it will an empty nest in just a few short years.

Today's card is for The Shabby Tea Room and the JustRite Friday Challenge. It's so springy and reminds me of the time we spend at Easter and doing our annual gardening. The azaleas are in full bloom here and we have a bush with flowers this exact shade of pink!

I used an assortment of pink papers by Glitz Design,Webster's Pages and Pink Paislee. The stamp Is by JustRite. I don't ave a source for ribbons, they were in my stash. The vellum butterfly is from Jenni Bowlin.
Here is a closeup of the sentiment:
Thanks for stopping by today; I hope you like my card. If I don't get around to posting this weekend, please have a wonderful Easter!

  20. WOW, such a beautifully-layered, soft and sweet card, Kristi, and I'd LOVE to have an azalea in such a perfect pink shade!!! So very deserving of the win!!! :~)

I'm also grinning over Shona's last comment. Hee -- I've never been 'idolized' before -- LOL!

Sorry to be so tardy in commenting this week; we've been super busy with family/friends, many of whom are leaving as our SW desert heats up, so lots of good-bye get-togethers -- fun, but kinda sad!
