Merci Beaucoup..... And A Rooster

A funny thing happened on the way to my blog: I came online to post my latest card and somehow ended up at a blog design site and you can see what transpired next! I decided to clean the 'ole blog up a bit and make it cleaner. I'm still dusting and getting some things settled, but the main page is up and running. I hope you like the new look!
Today's card is  for the Cardabilities Challenge.
I started with good intentions, but went way off the path! This card is made with papers from Graphic 445's French Country line. I've been lusting for this ever since I saw the sneak peeks from CHA.It has to be one of the most beautiful lines I've ever seen! I piled so many flowers on this card I had to use a glue gun! I think I see a couple of webs still on it: sorry! The sentiment stamp is from JustRite. I also used some gorgeous burlap ribbon from May Arts.

Thanks for stopping by, I am always thrilled when you visit!

  10. Holy Scrap Kristi ! Now THIS is my idea of a GREAT card. There was no card like this in that class I took, and this makes the most beautiful use of patterned paper! I'm in love with those papers too, now even more so! One question though, how do you send cards like this? I love the really bulky layered cards, but I'm at a loss as to how to package them.

    1. Aww Shona what a sweetheart you are! To answer your question, I don't send these out unless I'm including it in a package with a gift. This is meant to be hand delivered. I'm sure the mail would mangle it to bits! I use an envelope that is larger so it has some give and can expand to accommodate the bulk better.

  16. Oh my Lord, this card is exquisite!! I love EVERYTHING about it - the luscious, rich colors and textures, and those fabulous, swoon-worthy flowers! There is so much French, shabby goodness to see here, i.e. the cheesecloth, metal embellie, ribbon and twine...I am gaga over this card! I must check those papers out - you've advertised them beautifully! Great look to the blog, too!
