Darling......

Hi my sweet readers! I'm sharing a card made for this week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I was able to visit an Archiver's store this past weekend and I loaded up on some new goodies! If you have one of these stores in your town, you are so lucky! I bought some of the Park Bench collection from Fancy Pants Design. It's so pretty!

I also had the chance to use one of the wood veneer embellishments that I've been hoarding now for the last couple of months.
I went square this time!

patterned papers, chipboard star, white heart button-Fancy Pants
die for doily-Spellbinder

You're So Special To Me

Good Monday morning! It's wet and dreary here in Georgia this morning, it has been such a wet winter! I know it's good for the plants and come August, not a drop of rain will fall for weeks here.

And now for something completely different! I made this card for CASE Study this week. For those who visit regularly you know this is so *not* the kind of card I make! It still took over an hour to complete, mostly because it started out as one thing and turned into something else. I guess CAS cards are just as hard as layered cards! I did get to use some new MME papers from the Collectable line.

Oh my gosh I was so tempted to put more on this card, but I resisted! Here is the inspiration card:
How lovely is that?

Supplies-
card stock- Papertrey Ink
patterned papers, enamel dots-My Mind's Eye
Stamp-Hero Arts

Hello!!

Here's another "hello" card I made for this week's Mojo Monday Sketch.  I wasn't sure I what I wanted to do with it, so I  cut some shapes out on my die cutter and started playing around with it. I also mixed up my usual colors. I don't really make a lot of purple cards. I don't know why, I love to wear purple!

I found a 6x6 sized glitter paper stack by American Crafts at target the other day. It was only $5.99 and has many colors, plus the glitter isn't very messy. I cut this sentiment with my die cut machine as a test and it turned out so well that I made it into this card.
Of course I put my own spin on the sketch, but I rarely stick to them 100% anyway!

Supplies-
card stock- Papertrey Ink, Recollections
patterned paper-Teresa Collins
die cut doilies and sentiment- The Silhouette Store
brick wall embossing folder-Tim Holtz
edger punch-EK Success
purple flower- Spare Parts (Hobby Lobby)
bling flowers- Unknown (they were separated from the packaging)

Cameo Thanks Card

Happy hump day everyone!  I hope this post finds you warm, dry and ready for Valentine's Day!
Today's card is made for two challenges: The Shabby Tea Room and Mojo Monday.

Add caption

I finally decided to order a Silhouette Portrait die cutting machine to replace my Cricut. I've read so many good things about the Cameo, but when I saw the price point of the Portrait, I couldn't resist. I've been playing around with it for the last few days and love it! The  silhouette on my card was downloaded from the Silhouette store and cut with my Portrait.

I Love You Wreath Card

Good morning! I'm slowly waking up, I don't think my coffee is strong enough today. My sweet kitty TC is sitting in my lap,so it's been difficult to type!
I was surfing around at some stamp company blogs the other day and I noticed that Hero Arts has monthly challenges! I made this card for the "Love and Lace" challenge. I have many Hero Arts stamps and did you know that they have SVG cut files that match some of their stamps?  I have a stamp called Wreath Of Leaves. They have a cut file in their store for this stamp for .99 cents!

Once you die cut the SVG, you have to use a stamp positioner to stamp it directly on the die cut. It's tricky and mine is not placed perfectly, but it'll work! I punched out many little hearts and made it a heart wreath for Valentine's Day. The sentiment is also from  a Hero Arts set.

Supplies used~~
card stock- Soft stone card base by Papertrey Ink/  red, dark pink and grey-Bazzil Basics
patterned papers-My Mind's Eye
stamps-Hero Arts
Lace-The Ribbon Reel
seam binding-Hug Snug
grey ribbon-Unknown
resin heart-Webster's Pages
scalloped borders punches/dies-(small) Fiskars/(large) Taylored Expressions
pearls-Micheal's

Thanks for peeking and have a great day!!

Cheerful Thoughts.......

Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was great! Did your team win the Super Bowl? My hubby was happy! I spent most of the SB in the craft room!
Today's card is for the JustRite Stamps Friday Challenge. The theme is anything goes, but use your favorite stamp set.
I do have several sets of JustRite stamps (5 binders full) and honestly, I love them all! I used my current favorite, which is the Lace Background Stamp. If you stamp it and emboss it in white, it looks almost real!
The largest focal image is from the Friends Antique Labels One set. I embossed it in white on black card stock and used my metallic jelly roll and American Crafts pens to color the negative space. It's hard to tell in the photo, but it's a pretty dramatic look. The inner frame and sentiment came from the Just Because Vintage Labels set.

Supplies-
card stock-Papertrey Ink
Stamps-JustRite
dies-Spellbinders (custom made for JustRite stamps)
silk ribbon-May Arts (rose)
Flowers,jewels-Micheal's

I hope you like today's card and thanks for stopping by. Have a great week!
