Giveaway Reminder And Hello Autumn!

Happy Sunday, my friends! I would just like to mention that you have a couple of days left to enter my giveaway. I am looking to relaunch Kristi's Paper Creations with new content including regular features, video tutorials, product reviews and more! I would like your input! Just click here to go to the post and tell me what you would like to see here on my blog. If you leave a suggestion in the comments (or send me an email with one), your name will go into a drawing for a $50 e-gift card from A Cherry On Top! I will be closing this contest at noon EST on Wednesday, September 10th. The winner will be announced sometime on Thursday, September 11th.

Onto my card for today! As I'm sitting here writing this post, it's about 80 degrees and forecast to be around 91 degrees before the day is over. The air conditioning is churning along and the summer cicadas are singing their songs. Well, I for one, am ready to fall! I don't think it's too much to ask for September,do you? I've been putting together some Fall/Halloween cards with Basic Grey's Persimmon collection. This was last year's fall/Halloween line, but it is just so beautiful! The colors are really pretty and they've popped a dusky dark blue into the mix, so it has  a very interesting look.
This card was made with no stamping and only the addition of a Harvest Gold card base and some jute twine. Everything else is from the collection. The three main elements, the frame, sentiment, and pumpkins are  chipboard pieces. Whenever I'm working with self adhesive chipboard pieces, I add a little extra glue to them,as I've found they don't always like to stay glued down. A little Tombow or hot glue is just perfect for it.This card would be sweet for an Autumn birthday, you could stamp a birthday sentiment inside. I've made a few other cards with this collection, so you will be seeing some in the coming weeks!

That's it for today, have a wonderful Sunday!♥
