Season's Givings Blog Hop- 2014 Year In Review

Happy New Year everyone! Today a very special blog hop is happening, Season's Givings. It was started a few years ago by the amazing Latisha Yoast as a way to thank her readers for all of their incredible support and give something back to them. Each blog in the hop is hosting a giveaway and you can enter all of them for a chance to win some new crafting goodies to start your new year. See the end of this post for instructions on how to enter my giveaway, A $25 e-gift card from my favorite supply store, A Cherry On Top! They ship worldwide, so my giveaway is open to everyone.

This is my first year participating in the hop and I'm really excited to share with you my favorite projects of 2014. If you're not familiar with me, I am an avid card maker and live in the great state of Georgia with my husband of 20 years and my teenage daughter. I am currently on the design team for JustRite Papercraft. I also designed for Paper Sweeties and The Kraft Outlet. My personal card making style tends to be shabby chic and vintage. I have been experimenting with a more clean and simple style this past year as well. My projects below reflect both styles.

In January I shared this card, made for the JustRite Papercraft release. It featured stamps from Becca Feeken's Friendship Vintage Labels Seven. I love the chunky glitter I used here, although it got everywhere!

The next one is a gorgeous vintage shabby chic style Valentine card. I re-purposed a vintage reproduction Valentine card as my focal point.
Here's one of my first attempts at a more clean and modern card using Avery Elle stamps. Love the mint and pink color scheme!

Here's one I designed for the Paper Sweeties release June. I am a sucker for birds!
Here's another clean and simple card made from a cute fox set from Papertrey Ink.
Another clean and simple card for fall
Last but not least, my personal favorite from JustRite Papercraft's October release. Love the watercolor stamping using my Distress markers.
I hope you've enjoyed revisiting some of my favorite cards from 2014! I did make a New Year's card for you:
Here's to a wonderful new year full of crafting! Do you have any New Year's crafting resolutions? Leave them in a comment and you'll be included in my prize giveaway for a $25 e-gift card from A Cherry On Top. My giveaway will close at 11:59 Eastern time on Monday January 5, 2015. The winner will be announced on January 6, 2015.
I would also love to have you as a regular reader. There are many options on the top right of my blog sidebar to subscribe to my blog either through email, Google Friend Connect,Blog Lovin' and Feedly. I also have an active Pinterest and Etsy shop, I would love for you to visit me at either one!

Ok, here's the blog hop list so you can visit all of the other bloggers participating today. Everyone is giving away prizes, so make sure to visit as many as you can for a chance to win!
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you had fun!

  116. Awesome cards! Love them! Normally I am not one for resolutions, and I am fairly new in the paper crafts, but I do have a Crafting TO DO List of trying new techniques, purchases from my wishlist. Mixed Media techniques is on top of my techniques I want to dabble in. Since I have only been into this for a year and half, I am constantly purchasing to get a starting inventory to work with.....one major thing is getting a good supply of copics to work with....so far I only have a variety of flesh tones.
    Happy New Year!

  154. Beautiful cards. Very inspiring and lovely. Resolutions??? Well this year I decided not to make any.. Because well. It is always the usual... Loose weight, quit smoking etc. that just dont happen. So this year it is about continuing on to just live life and do what makes me happy. All those things will come as they come. I think the pressure of resolutions has kept me from doing them. So I already started back on Yoga before the New year... and just going to keep doing it. I am just going to cut back little at a time on the smoking thing and work toward my goals to sign up for DT's and post on my blog more... Also work on my art and try to sell it too. So my goal this year... Keep trying... Happy New year and thank you for the chance to win some goodies.
