My First Blog Award!

Last week, Jodi from Jodi's Card Creations gave me my first award. I would like to say thanks to her and let her know that I am very flattered. I enjoy her blog also, she makes the most beautiful cards!
In order for me to accept this award I have to do a few things:

Share three unknown things about myself:
1. I am extremely shy..even online!
2. I am a coffee addict: Starbucks is my blood type!
3. I hoard crafting supplies.  Who knew? LOL

I also have to pass this award onto 5 bloggers: Here they are in no particular order:
1. Scrapcrazyyyy at Scrapcrazyyyy's Blog
3.Kristin at The Crafty Kitchen
4. Kathi at Kards By Kathi
5. Rose at Pink Lemonade

All of the above blogs provide me so much inspiration and I enjoy them very much!

Have a great week!

Today I'm sharing and elegant card made with Webster's Pages papers. I absolutely love their products. The paper is heavy and thick and the art work is simply amazing! I actually happened upon this paper at my local scrapbook shop last week. It is nearly sold out everywhere I have looked. The ribbon and background paper are actually hot pink: it's coming off a bit red in the photos.

Jolly Saint Nick Card

Good morning! It is freezing cold here in Georgia today. Finally! Our summers are so hot and humid that a break from them is so welcome! Some snow fell yesterday in the nearby area, but not my town. I did see a few flakes, but nothing more :(. Here is a card I literally made in about ten minutes: Most of the components were ready made.

Here is my supply list:
PatternedPaper by K and Company
Die cut of Santa By Kaisercraft
Stamp by Inkadinkado
Bling by Studio 18
Glitter Swirls by Anna Griffin (these are actually swirly letters I cut up and reused as swirls!)

Rustic Reindeer Card

Happy Wednesday! Today I'm sharing a card I whipped up this morning. When I say "whipped up" I actually mean that this is the second incarnation of this card! I had to pull it apart and redo it at least twice. This is not my usual style, but I enjoy going out of my comfort zone.

My sewing machine gave me fits while I was trying to do the stitching. It's an old Brother machine and it is very temperamental. Here is what I used on this card:

All Cardstock by the Paper Company
Stamp by Stampers Anonymous
Button and tissue tape by Tim Holtz
Letter Stickers by Making Memories
Seam Binding from Etsy
Ribbon from my stash
