Now And Forever Card

Here is my take on the Mojo Monday Week 153 sketch. I bought these cute wedding cake stickers by Jolee's Boutique at Target on clearance. They are so pretty and delicate I just had to buy them. Since they are on the small side, I figured they would look best in multiples,so this week's sketch was the perfect opportunity to use them.  I used metallic/pearlized gray cardstock embossed with my Cuttelbug folder as the base. Pink dot embossed cardstock was used for the cakes, sentiment and punched flower. Silver satin ribbon finishes the bottom.

Thanks for visiting, I hope you enjoyed your time here!

Best wishes,

Time To Shine Card

Today I'm sharing a card I created for the Card Patterns Weekly Sketch 78. I was at Micheal's this week and happened upon a beautiful paper stack called "All  Girl" by My Mind's Eye. It has some really lovely designs in it. Some were a little young and probably only useful in child's projects and such: but many can really be used for all ages. I used two coordinating papers for this card that features an old Anna Griffin stamp I purchased a few years back. I really liked her line of stamps like this. They are mostly based on old etchings from the 1800's and I have many in my collection. I wish they were still produced!

See the closeup of the flower; I made a rolled rose from the same paper, added diamond glaze to the middle and petal edges, then sprinkled micro beads in the glaze. I loved how it turned out!

I hoped you enjoyed looking at my project. Please leave a comment ; I love hearing from you!

Trust Card

Here is a card I created for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge over at Priscilla Styles. This was a pretty sketch and thought I'd try my hand at it. The supplies I used were some that I have had a while and pulled out of the back of my drawers. I always  liked this stamp. It reminds me of a set of very close sisters or friends. I used the "trust" theme because that is definitely one of the special traits of the sisterly bond.

Here are some closeups

Thank you for your visit today, please look around at my other creations and make yourself at home!

Have a great evening,

Remember Card

Here is a card I created for the Our Creative Corner Weekly Sketch #29. This is a great sketch and I did a literal translation of the frame. I made the frame from my Sentimentals Cricut cartridge on metallic silver paper and embossed it with a Cuttlebug embossing folder to give it texture like an old carved frame. Silhouettes are very hot right now in home decorating so I thought I would add one to the frame. I bought some old French book pages on Etsy and used some to make the flower. I think it turned out pretty!

Bohemian Inspired Birthday Card

Here is a cute birthday card I created from some Making Memories paper I bought some time ago and just recently rediscovered in my paper stash. The line is called Flea Market I believe and can still be purchased at Target stores. I absolutely love the colors: They remind of a bohemian look. I think these papers would also look great sewn and distressed. I may have to do another card and see!

I am entering this card in the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge.  The theme for this week is buttons and bows. Check them out, there are many talented card makers to draw inspiration from.

Here some detail closeups

Blue Bird Thank You Card

Here is my take on the sketch for the Cardibilities Sketch 9. The paper is from K and Company's Sweet Life By Terri Conrad pad. I really love this company's paper and use it in a lot of my projects. The paper is nice and heavy, the inks are vivid and I usually can find patterns that are trendy and pretty. The best thing about it is that all of the papers coordinate with each other so there is no guess work!

Supplies are below:
Paper- K and Company
Brads and glitter swirl- Making Memories
Embossing folder- Cuttlebug by Provo Craft
Sentiment- Amuse Artstamps

Here are some closeups of the details.

Best Wishes Card

Here is a card I created for a couple of challenges. I had this gorgeous piece of gray damask paper that I bought eons ago and wanted to use it for a wedding card. I did a monochromatic color scheme with grays and black. I almost added a gray ribbon, but decided on red for a pop of drama. I think it sets off the gray and black rather nicely and adds a bit of the unexpected.

Here is the supply list:
Cardstock- gray, pearlescent gray ,pearlescent white and black by the Paper Company
Gray damask paper- Deja Views (Sweet Romance Collection)
Stamps- bird (unknown: I bought this unmounted and it is not marked) Sentiment by Crafty Secrets
Doily by Wilton
Bling from Prima
Ribbon from Micheals

The challenges for this card are Simon Says Stamp And Show for their "things with wings' challenge and Tuesday Morning Sketches weekly sketch.

I hope you like this card, I loved making it! Please leave a comment and follow me if you have enjoyed your visit.
All the best,
