Thinking Of You

Hi everyone! Today's card is my entry for the Case Study Challenge this week. The object of the challenge is to be inspired by someone else's card and make your own version of it. You can copy closely or loosely, whatever you wish. The Muses and designers over there are super talented and the creations are glorious!

So pretty! I used the color combination and layout for my version.Of course I had to add some scrunchy seam binding: I am addicted to it lately and it's on every card!

Autumn Woods Card

Happy Thursday! I hope this post is finding you happy and well.OK guys, here is my take on the Tuesday Trigger over at Moxie Fab World. CAS is definitely NOT my style, and this card nearly killed me! I wanted to keep going with the embellishments, but when you see the inspiration picture below, I hope you agree that it inspires a rustic, spare aesthetic.
My hat is off to those who do clean and simple cards: It's not as easy as it looks!

Fall Greetings Card

Today I'm sharing a card that I made for this week's Shabby Tea Room Challenge . The inspiration is fall flowers with bonus points for making your own flowers.
Here is the inspiration picture:
I made the flower out of silk fabric. I stitched and gathered the bottom layer and made a rolled center. The same silk was used as the ruffled bottom to the card as well.
I used this week's Mojo Monday Sketch as the basis for the design. I strayed a bit from it as you can see.
