The Gift Of A Loving Thought.........

Good Saturday evening sweet readers! Tonight I'm posting a card made for the JustRite Friday Challenge. The theme is "Be Supportive" and it is timely because this card is going to a close friend who is dealing with a hard time in her life. I used one of the sentiments in the set called Vintage Filigree Fancies from The Amazing Paper Grace stamps by Becca Feeken. This is such a lovely set!

This entire card is made from Spellbinders Dies :Labels One and Decorative Labels One, Standard Circles and Ironwork Accents.
All of the patterned papers are from the Lavender Collection by My Mind's Eye.
The seam binding and crochet twine are from my stash.
The resin butterfly is from Melissa Frances.
The pearls are from Recollections at Micheal's

Here is a closeup of the sentiment:
Thank you so much for stopping by to see me!

Autumn Colors, Autumn Leaves

I hope everyone had a lovely Labor Day weekend! I took a little time  to create two cards for the JustRite Stampers Friday Challenge. This time around our challenge is to make a card with more than one fold. I don't usually make multi-fold cards, but boy I had a blast! I recently received a JustRite order from their fall release and have fallen in love with the Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves set. You may be seeing a lot of this set in the near future!

How over the top is this?LOL!My idea was to make a card that looks like beautiful Autumn leaves cascading down from the trees. The card construction is actually called a cascading card. I used a tutorial from this awesome blog. I stamped four each of the leaves in the Shabby Chic Autumn Leaves set in different ink colors on various card stocks and cut them out. I arranged them until I was satisfied and adhered them with ATG tape and pop dots to add dimension in certain places. Here are a few more pictures so you can see it from different angles:

I hope this post is finding you well on this Saturday night! I realized earlier today that I need to post this card for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge. I took some photographs of it a few days ago and they were super bad! We've had lots of cloudy days lately and I can't seem to get a decent photo of anything. I tried again tonight, but they are not much better. I took the best one and tried to work with it. I need a Photoshop class so badly!

Stamps-JustRite Stampers
Die Cuts-Spellbinders (Circles,Labels 20,Dahlia)

Have great evening and come back soon!
