Happy Birthday Dad-JustRite Papercraft November Release Haberdashery Vintage Labels Five

Welcome to another day of the November release from JustRite Papercraft! Yesterday we showcased some lovely ladies shoes, today we a giving a nod to the fashionable gentleman. Our featured set today is Haberdashery Vintage Labels Five. This clear stamp set coordinates with the JustRite Custom Spellbinder dies Vintage Labels Five that was introduced in last month's release.

My card for you today has a little masculine mixed up with a bit of steam punk flair.
As a girly and frou-frou card maker, masculine cards can be so hard to make! This stamp set actually made it really easy. I repeated the wood grain in the focal stamp by using a wood grain embossing folder as my main background paper. The top hat in this set is just so cute, so I cut one out to join with the focal stamp and stamped a top hat border on the bottom. I added some metal gears and a masculine button to finish it off. Think of the color combinations this card could be made: blues and browns or black and white.

The fun's not over yet! Use the link list below to visit the other talented JustRite designers and see the beautiful projects they have created for you using this set!

  1. You certianly rocked the man card here. Love the mix of vintage and steam punk.

  2. Wonderful "mans" card...clever idea to use the gears and ad some steam punk...I know my hubby would love this card!!

  3. A fab masculine card! Love the top hats and all the elements...well done!

  4. Great masculine card! I like how the embossed folder emphasizes the wood grain in the stamp.

I like your color suggestions, too. The stamp set would look so good with the JR ticking stripes background in those colors.

  5. Such a lovely stylish masculine card, Kristi!! Love that EF and everything is so nicely put together!! Great card!! TFS.
