Jingle All The Way....

Good Saturday, my crafty friends! I hope all is well with you on this beautiful day. We're getting ready for the new school year to start here,in less than two weeks! When I was young, we didn't go back to school until after Labor Day. My daughter is dreading it and excited about it at the same time; I think she misses some of her friends.
I know Christmas is the last thing on your mind right now,but it will  be here before you know it. JustRite PaperCraft had a huge holiday stamp release in July and I've whipped up a rustic style card for you today.
I used the Christmas Vintage Labels Seven clear stamps. I stamped the frame on a Spellbinders Labels Ten die cut and layered the sentiment stamped in red and die cut with the long skinny die from JustRite's Custom die set Vintage Labels Seven. I accented each side of the sentiment with the little jingle bell stamp. I just happened to have some patterned papers that coordinated perfectly (Farm House Paper's Norland line) that has holly and jingle bells printed on it. I  added a few fish tail banners in various patterns underneath the main focal panel and then strung little jingle bells(found at Micheals) along some green twine and adhered it across the bottom. I like the rustic look to this one!

That's it for me today, I've got a full day of errands to do. See you again soon!

Make It Monday At The Kraft Journal-A Sketch Challenge!

Good morning everyone! It's time for a new challenge at The Kraft Journal. This week, we're having a sketch challenge! I adore working with sketches, they seem to spark my creativity in an  unusual way. You can either follow one exactly, or mix it up and reinterpret them in your own way.

I took the elements here and really changed them to fit the supplies I wanted to use. If I can't fit the sketch, I make it fit me! I've rotated some of the elements and separated others, but they are all there. This one really forced me to think out of the box.

Kraft Outlet items used here:

Paper Sweeties July Release Rewind!

Good morning and welcome to the July edition of the Paper Sweeties Release Rewind. This is the day we use a new release item paired with one or more previously released items. Home Tweet Home was originally released in July of last year. Now, Sweet Cuts dies for this set are available! I love the idea of having dies for my stamp images. I'm a terrible fussy cutter and this saves me so much frustration!
Now you can use your die cut shapes to created scenes or clusters without having to mask or cut them out. I was able to give my scene dimension  by using foam tape on some of the pieces. How sweet is my little bird and ladybug?

Make It Monday At The Kraft Journal-Sunshine

Happy Monday morning to you! It's time for a new Make It Monday challenge at The Kraft Journal blog. In keeping with summer, the theme this week is 'Sunshine'. You can interpret the theme any way you wish, just make use you use a kraft item or anything purchased or available at the Kraft Outlet shop. I made a sunburst card this week.
It sort of has a quilted look with the different patterned papers I used. I started my card with a Blank Brown Kraft Note Card. I die cut several pieces of patterned paper into triangles and adhered them in a sunburst pattern, trimming the edges of the paper along the top and sides of the card base as needed. I die cut two circles for the sun center and attached a sun shaped sequin to the middle with a brad. I then adhered a scalloped trim to the middle of the card and wrapped a piece of Mint Green Tea Seam Binding around it, tying it in a bow on the left side. I added another bow made from some yellow twine from the Pastel Hemp Cording Pack . I then added a tiny clothespin to the bows. The sentiment was stamped on the bottom right corner in brown ink.  Patterned papers are from the Mint Julep 6x6 paper pad by Basic Grey. The sentiment and sunbusrt die is from Papertrey Ink. Sunburst sequin by Jenni Bowlin. Trim from Webster's Pages.

Paper Sweeties July Release Countdown!

Monday already? Where did the weekend go? We're back today to brighten your Monday with some sneak peeks from the July release of Paper Sweeties. Today's card is from the new release stamp set, Firefighters. As the name implies, it's a set with a firefighter theme. I've made cute little Abigail my firefighter today.
I just love the sentiment and knew I wanted to use the houses from the Home Sweet Home set that was released a few months ago. I've created a neighborhood street scene with some cloud patterned paper and the street is simply a strip of black card stock. I drew the lines using a ruler and a white gel pen. I've also wrapped the card with Creamsicle and Green Apple Baker's Twine. What a great set for the firefighter in your life! It would also be so cute for a firefighter themed birthday.

Use the blog hop list below and see what the Paper Sweeties designers have for you today.
Remember, all of the new stamps will be available tonight at midnight in the Paper Sweeties store!
Come back tomorrow for the July Release Party, we have plenty more inspiration for you! Have a great day!♥

What a cute card for a new cat owner or on a little girl's card paired with a birthday sentiment! I used some really pretty papers from the Twirly Girly 6x6 paper pad from Chickaniddy Crafts. Signs Of Christmas........

Good morning and happy Saturday, my sweet friends! We're still humming along with the July release from JustRite PaperCraft. This is a huge release and we still have so much to show you. Today, we're introducing a really neat clear stamp set, Signs Of Christmas and a new background, Winter Wonder.
I've paired both of them on my card today.I used some chunky glitter to stand in for snow in the scene I've created here. I embossed my sign in white for a chalkboard look. I've also taken a bit of yellow card stock and backed the light post with it to give the illusion that it's glowing.
Signs Of Christmas may be my personal favorite of all the Christmas stamps this year. This set has so many different elements to mix and match the possibilities are truly only limited by your imagination! It also has a coordinating SVG cutting file set available in the JustRite store.

Check out the gorgeous projects the JustRite designers have for you today.

I Am So Thankful For You...

Happy Friday! I hope your week has been great.  Today we are featuring more beautiful new stamps from JustRite PaperCraft's July release . Stitched Sunflowers is a sweet set of two sunflowers, a matching leaf, a label and a variety of sentiments. We're also introducing a cool new  Basket Weave background stamp. As soon as I saw these, I knew I just had to make a basket of sunflowers!
I used the matching SVG cutting file available for Stitched Sunflowers to cut the flowers and leaves. I found a basket shaped SVG online and stamped it with the Basket Weave background. I simply arranged my flowers how I liked them, and added foam tape to some of them for dimension. I tucked the leaves in last and then added a small tag die cut with the sentiment stamped on it in brown. What a sweet set to have for those late summer and fall projects!

Fall Pumpkin And Leaves......

Hello and welcome to another day of the huge July release from Justrite PaperCraft. So far we've shown you some pretty birthday flowers, a very elegant fan and a super cool vintage typewriter set. Today we're changing gears and peeking into Fall!  Today we're showcasing an adorable set, Fall Applique' and a coordinating background stamp, Stitched Vines. I used the pumpkin and leaves from Fall Applique' on my card today.
Fall cards are my absolute favorite cards to make, probably because it's my favorite season. I did a simple and clean look here. My Fall cards are usually a bit more fussy, but I think the stitched look these stamps have lean a bit more simple and homespun. They certainly can be dressed up or down, like a good pair of jeans! Just look at all of the images and beautiful words and phrases included in this set. I can see that this is one I'll be reaching for again and again.
Woot! There's also matching SVG files available for download in the JustRite store. No more fussy cutting for this left handed lady! Scissors aren't always my friend, but my Silhouette is!LOL
Here's a look at the background stamp we're introducing today, Stitched Vines.

You Make Me Smile......

Happy hump day and welcome to the third day of the July release from JustRite PaperCraft. Today's featured stamps have a  really cute vintage typewriter theme. Just Typed  has an awesome vintage typewriter image and sentiments. Typewriter Sentiments is a collection of sentiments in a typewriter font with a matching frame that can be used on it's own or paired with Just Typed.
How cool is this typewriter? I made a vintage style card using yellows and blacks paired with kraft. There are matching SVG files for this set so you can use your electronic cutting machine to cut this baby out! I think it's the perfect pairing of vintage and elegant.

Make It Monday at The Kraft Journal- Sand And Sea

Happy Monday morning! I hope your holiday weekend was awesome! It's time for a new Make It Monday at The Kraft Journal blog. This week's theme is 'Sand And Sea'.   Here's my take on the theme.
I used the colors of the beach to inspire my project instead of doing a completely themed card. I did add some seashells  and a bit of cheese cloth to add some beach flair! Of course, I used plenty of seam binding and some hemp twine that looks like rope as well as a little eyelet trim from Webster's Pages. The  gorgeous patterned papers are from Maja Design's Vintage Summer Basics 6x6 paper pad. The sentiment is from Avery Elle.
