I Love You This Much!

Happy Saturday! I have one more card to share with you this month. I've really been getting a lot of use from the Spring Wishes Vintage Labels Eight stamp set that is a part of the January 2015 CHA Release. The sentiments are perfect for this time of year. I created this card with Valentine's Day in mind, but with it's atypical color scheme, you could really use it for any occasion.
I found the patterned paper in the Vintage Amour 6x6 paper pad I purchased at Hobby Lobby last year. I found the gold Bazzil card stock and the gold May Arts Silk ribbon and realized they matched perfectly! They look slightly off in the photo, but it's the sheen on the ribbon causing it. I used my long neglected Adorning Squares Spellbinders as the base of my sentiment. I used the frame stamp that fits Vintage Labels Eight dies and stamped it in Gold Delicata ink. Then I stamped the sentiment on gold card stock in black ink and used the smaller inside die from Vintage Labels Nine to die cut it and then layer it onto the larger label. The embossed and scalloped borders are a embossing folder/matching die set from Anna Griffin. All of the little gold accents are from my stash-not sure of their origin. The blue flowers are from Hobby Lobby. This card measures 5x7 inches, a little bigger than my usual A2 size, but so much more room for you to decorate!

I hope you've enjoyed your visit today, I appreciate you taking the time to visit me. Just a reminder that JustRite Papercraft is running two sales at the moment. Maybe you can do some shopping while hubby watches the Big Game this weekend! :) See the side bar graphics for all the details. Click on the graphics to be taken to the JustRite online store.♥

Pretty In Pink Birthday Card

Good evening friends! I hope you are doing well wherever you are and if you're in the Northeast US and are snowed in, I hope you are warm and safe! I've been on a card making rampage lately, I am creating faster than I can share them with you. I got a lot of new crafting goodies lately between Christmas and some swag from CHA. I feel like I need to hurry and use it all! LOL. Today's card is a mostly pink birthday card.

The embossing folders are from Anna Griffin as well as the green floral paper. I box pleated it and added a small embossed border to the front. The pink flowers are from my local Micheal's from the $2 bin. I think they're gorgeous! I've also added some pink May Arts silk ribbon and linen twine. The sentiment is from Avery Elle. The butterfly and swirl are some embellishments I made from a paper clay kit and mold from Martha Stewart. They are super lightweight; more so than the typical resin embellishments you get elsewhere.

Thanks for coming by and enjoy your day!

Cameo Valentine's Day Card

Good morning! I hope this post is finding you well on this cold winter morning! I've been keeping warm and busy in the craft room lately. Here is the result of some of that time in a shabby chic Valentine's Day card.
I said this is shabby chic, but I guess you might call it deconstructed shabby chic. Not as frilly as my usual shabby chic cards, sort of a modern take on the style. Anyway, most of the supplies I used here are from Webster's Pages; doily heart, cameo, eyelet border lace. The paper is from the Vintage Amore' paper pad by The Paper Studio. Seam binding and flowers are from my stash. Sentiment stamp is from JustRite Papercraft's Spring Wishes Vintage Labels Eight stamp set that's part of the current Winter CHA 2015 release. It's a really nice sentiment set that covers all the Spring occasions. The little heart on the sentiment banner is from my stash as well. It probably came from Michael's. I tend to load up on little gems and trinkets when I visit!

I haven't played along with any challenges lately,so I'm going to link up here:

Vintage Typewriter Valentine

Happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I had some quality time in my craft room recently. I've been putting together some Valentine cards for various family members, for my personal use and a couple of  paid commissions. Today's card is one I put in my Etsy shop for sale recently. It's geared toward the masculine side.
The stamp was found in the dollar bin at my local Michael's store last year. Sometimes I find the cutest little stamps there! The papers are from My Mind's Eye; I think it's the Lost And found Ruby pad. The chevrons you see on the banner are from an American Crafts punch I found at Target recently as well as the puffy hearts. The corrugated cardboard is from my stash. I rescued it from the trash can. I can't remember if I used a sketch for this one; I think it was,but I changed it so much you wouldn't recognize it. Sketches are awesome starting points if you're not sure how you want to lay out your card.

That's it for today! Thanks for stopping by,I'll be back soon.

Sympathy Cards

Hi my friends!. I've been going through some photos of cards that I haven't had a chance to share with you yet. I posted some cards made with kits from Anna Griffin a couple of weeks ago. I have several more to share with you and I thought I would post them by occasion. Today's cards are sympathy cards. Not the kind I like to make, I've needed two recently unfortunately. I like to keep a few in my stash because you usually need them in a hurry.

Most everything on these two cards were made with items exclusively from the Floral Impressions kit. I've added some embossed paper using Anna's embossing folders and any die cuts were made with her Cuttlebug dies. These were a cinch to put together, I simply arranged the elements until I was satisfied with it and then adhered everything to the card front. I especially love the flower stickers, they are multi layered and have such beautiful colors. This kit is discontinued unfortunately, but Anna has some very lovely kits available on if you would like to check them out.

I hope you enjoyed your visit today! Thanks for coming by!

Be Mine Valentine Card

I hope you are well this evening and have been enjoying your day. Valentine's Day is coming soon and I've been making a few cards to get ready. This one is sort of a streamlined shabby chic look.
I've used a combination of Valentine themed paper from My Mind's Eye. The resin bouquet is from either Prima or Melissa Frances; it's been separated from the packaging and I couldn't find this online anywhere!
The flowers are definitely Prima. I've used a stamp from the January CHA release from JustRite Papercraft called Spring Wishes Vintage Labels Eight And Nine. The glittered heart is from my stash, probably from my local Micheal's store. All of the supplies I could find a source for are linked at the bottom of this post.

Speaking of  Winter CHA, I had the opportunity to attend the show in Anaheim this past week! I met so many wonderful folks and had a blast! I have some pictures to show you and hope to have  a post up soon.

Thanks for stopping by today, see you soon!

JustRite Papercraft Winter CHA Release-Loving Sentiments

Good morning and welcome to another day of the JustRite Papercraft CHA Winter release. Today we're introducing a very sweet romatic stamp set, Loving Sentiments.I made a very pink, very sweet romantic card for you today.
This is one of my current favorites! I just love that big swirly flourish! I've used two to build up one of the layers on the card. I used the coordinating SVG cut file to die cut them, but they are just as lovely stamped right onto a card base or panel. I stamped the heart and sentiment onto  pink card stock and die cut it with a die from Vintage Labels Eight. A single pearl,a silk ribbon bow, and a pink flower was all the embellishment needed. This would make a beautiful Valentine card.

I hope you'll take a moment to visit the other JustRite designers and see their beautiful projects made for your inspiration:

JustRite Papercraft CHA 2015 Winter Release- Sentimental Damask Clear Stamps

Hi and welcome to JustRite Papercraft's CHA Winter release! There so many beautiful new stamps in this release. I'm sure you'll find something that tickles your fancy! Today we're introducing Sentimental Damask clear stamps. This wonderful stamp set has some stunning damask elements that you can use alone or build a pattern with along with some fabulous sentiments for many different occasions. I made an anniversary card for you today.
This is a full 5x7 inch card with a black white and tiffany blue color scheme. After I constructed a black card base, I embossed a blue panel cut slightly smaller and adhered it to the front. I used the largest die from 5x7 Mystical Embrace Spellbinders to cut a panel from black. I used the new release Script Background And stamped it on a white panel, rounded the corners, wrapped it in a piece of tiffany blue ribbon, and adhered it to the black die cut layer. I then used one of the large damask pieces and stamped it on vellum (in Versamark ink) once upright and another time upside down to form a space for my sentiment.I embossed it all in silver, cut it out using Gold Labels Four.I then took some small  hot fix Austrian crystals and adhered them around the damask pattern. I found a little round rhinestone buckle in my stash and slid it on the ends of the ribbon, added a little glue to the back to secure it and then trimmed the ends of the ribbon.

There is also a matching SVG set available for this set in the JustRite Papercraft store.

Here's a peek at the Script Cling Background stamp:
