My Sheri Crafts Challenge 158- Splish Splash

Happy Saturday! I hope you have some wonderful weekend plans! I've been asked by Sheri Holt of My Sheri Crafts Challenge to join in as  a DT member for the summer! I'm very excited to be a part of the team and to bring you inspiration for their bi-weekly challenges!

This term's challenge theme is called 'Splish Splash'. Your creation should incorporate water, the beach , swimming etc. I've made a cute get well card for you today.

When I saw this challenge theme, I immediately thought of my cloud and rain Spellbinders dies.I also used some rain boots and an umbrella in my collection of Paper Sweeties dies as well as the sentiment. I've had this card swirling around in my head for a while, it's one I've been wanting make for a while. Here's a list of products used and links.

I hope you'll join us and link up your creation over at My Sheri Crafts! Have a great day and see you there!

It's Wedding Season!

Good morning! I hope everyone had a lovely Memorial Holiday weekend! We attended a lovely wedding and several barbeque get togethers for the holiday. We're all recuperated and the kids are officially out of school for the summer!
Summer also brings us to wedding season so I thought I'd share some wedding cards I've made recently. These two are from Webster's Pages 'In Love' line. I just looked it up and it was released way back in 2012. I think I purchased them from their annual warehouse sale a couple of years ago.My only regret is not having some of the beautiful trims and embellishments that match, but I made do with my own.

I did have some very wide lace from another of their collections and used it as a texture layer. A 'congrats' tag, blush silk ribbon and sparkly accent were all that it needed. Since a lot of my cards go to my Etsy shop for sale I've begun to decorate the inside of the card for a more finished look. Here's a peek at the inside:

Up next is a wedding cake card.
A little bit bolder in color I also stamped a sentiment on the bottom right side. I love the wedding cake with the love birds on top! Here's the inside:
Thanks for stopping over today! I hope you enjoyed your visit! Have a wonderful day!

Baby Cards Using Graphic 45 Precious Memories

Hi and good afternoon to you! It's been a while since I've posted here. It wasn't intentional; we've been busy doing spring cleaning of the house, cleaning up the yard and planting our flower beds and all of the end of the year activities at my daughter's school. The weather has been pleasant, but now it's hot. It is going to get to 90F today. Summer is here officially!

I'm sharing a couple of baby cards with you today featuring Graphic 45's Precious Memories collection.

I adore this collection and am pleased that you can use it for girl and boy cards. I've cut some elements from the papers to create a collage on my card front. I love how Graphic 45 designs their products to be used as is or fussy cut, so versatile!

Here is a sweet little baby boy card from the same paper pad:
I've also used some of the coordinating chipboard pieces on both cards as well. I really like how these both turned out, I hope yo do too! Thanks for stopping by today!♥

Happy Mother's Day!

Good morning! I hope everyone is having a lovely day! I'm going to spend a leisurely day planting my flower pots and maybe get some time in the craft room. I've made lots of pretty Mother's Day cards this year. Some were private commissions from friends, others I sold in my Etsy store. I thought I'd share them with you today. Lots of pictures ahead!
This one was made with Graphic 45's Secret Garden.

This on was made with some pretty Carta Bella papers and stamps from JustRite Papercraft.

These two are made with some Maggie Holmes paper.

The last four were made with various Anna Griffin papers, kits and dies.

Thanks for letting me share these with you! Have a wonderful Sunday and thanks for stopping by!

Good morning! It's new release time at JustRite Papercraft! This month's release is very exciting, I love all of the new stamps! Today's featured stamps are Multi Step Lilac Bouquet and Sympathy Handwritten Sentiments.
