Floral Happy Birthday Card

Happy Sunday to you! I'm back today to share with you a summery floral birthday card.

I'm sure by now if you live in the Northern Hemisphere, the roses are in full bloom! They are one of my favorite flowers and we have red rose bushes scattered around our property. I can't cut them and bring them indoors very often, as we have a kitty who thinks they are her treats. I have to put them on a very high place to keep them away from her! I can however, use them as card inspiration! I found some darling rose paper in my stash and used the Bella Clair Border die from the new Venise Lace Collection from Amazing Paper Grace. I've used two here as my main background accent pieces. The sentiment and focal die cuts were made using the Giving Occasions Stamp And Die Set that is part of the Vintage Elegance Collection.

I accented the sentiment  piece with some dark pink pearls and of course a card cannot be complete without lots of flower embellishments and ribbon!

I hope you've enjoyed your visit today! I appreciate you stopping by, have a fabulous week!

Welcome Baby Card Featuring The Emmeline Treillage Die

Happy Saturday! I hope you are doing well and having a wonderful day! Today I'm sharing a card with you made with the very popular Emmeline Treillage die by Amazing Paper Grace. It's part of the new Venise Lace Collection. This is an awesome die and can be used for so many styles.

I made a sweet new baby card for this week. I used some busy patterned paper as my background but used vellum behind the die cut to tone it down a little. You can still see the paper, but it doesn't compete with the stunning die cut. I thought of adding pearls to the flower centers, but decided to leave it as is for a slightly cleaner look.
Here is closer view. Emmeline can be dressed up or down. I'm thinking of playing around with adding it in front of a water colored panel or maybe an ombre inked panel. What do you think?

I hope you like my card, thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend!💓

Rustic Bird Card Using Hemstitch Rectangles And Cinch And Go Flowers 2

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope this post finds you well and enjoying your weekend. I'm back today to share a card I made with some of the latest dies from Amazing Paper Grace's Venise Lace Collection.
I've had this old 7Gypsie's paper pad sitting around for ages. It has some really beautiful rustic papers with a botanical theme. I thought they might look nice cut with the Hemstitch Rectangles dies. I love this set of rectangles, they are meant to resemble the edges of vintage linens and are so different than the pierced or stitched rectangles that are on the market. They can also be used without the hemstitch insert and cut a regular rectangle. I've done this on the bird printed layer. The flower is made with Cinch and go Flowers 2, which makes a pretty flower really fast, just pinch on the fold lines and done! I used burlap for my leaves for a rustic touch.
Yes, my flower center is a rusty jingle bell! 🙀lol I thought it looked cute even though it's out of season. I really like how this card turned out, it's one of the rare projects where it came out the same as I imagined!
Thanks for stopping over today, see you again soon!

Amazing Paper Grace Monthly Blog Hop Featuring the Graceful Frame Maker Die

Good morning and thanks for joining us!  We have a blog hop going on today and the entire Amazing Paper Grace Creative Team spent the week creating with the Graceful Frame Maker.  We each picked a border from the Graceful Borders collection to work with and spun it into a mitered frame or mitered frame background for use on a card.

The Graceful Frame Maker is a die that will cut four miters to create a framed card  from borders, punched strips or tall dies - you can see a step by step tutorial -----> HERE and a video ----> HERE.
I will share a link list below so that you can see the creations of each person on the Creative Team as well as learn how to win a free Amazing Paper Grace Venise Lace Collection Die.

Both of my cards today are made using the Graceful Fans Border dies. The first one shown above is a birthday card that reminds me of early fall. It's so hot in Georgia right now, I'm longing for Autumn already! I used the frame maker to cut some card stock, then embossed it for an interesting look. All of the techniques I used are included in Becca's tutorial linked above. My next card is a shaker card.
Sorry for the glare, I used gold metallic card stock for the outer frame and it is so difficult to photograph! I used the same Graceful Fans border die for this card as well. I wanted to show you how you can get very different looks with basically the same card layout just by switching up the colors.I really like how the Graceful Frame Maker die works with your existing border dies and punches. It's a great way to get more use from your stash and there is no measuring or complicated cutting involved.

Eiffel Tower Merci Card

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope your weekend is going great so far. Here in the United States we are celebrating our Independence Day on Tuesday so a lot of folks are enjoying a long weekend.

Today I'm sharing a card made with Victoriana Crest and Cinch And Go Flowers 2, part of the new Venise Lace Collection by Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace.

I love Paris and hopefully will be able to go back to this wonderful city someday. I am fascinated with the Eiffel Tower and make lots of cards from the ever growing collection of Eiffel Tower stamps I collect. I cut the Victoriana Crest frame out of pearlized gold card stock so it has a vintage look that I love. I heat embossed the stamp in black on the oval that is included in the  set. The sentiment is stamped onto a die cut that is included in the set as well. The flowers are made from the new Cinch And Go Flowers 2. They are so easy to cut and  put together!

I found these lovely jewels for the center in my stash as well as the metal crown adorning the top of the frame.

I hope you liked my card today and have given you some ideas for your own cards and projects using these wonderful dies. Thank for stopping by and have a wonderful day!
