Give Thanks Card

Happy Labor Day! I hope you have enjoyed your holiday weekend for those in the States or Canada. Since it's officially September, I made a Fall card for you today.
I found this fall themed paper in my stash. It is a cream colored paper with pale leaves and has a contrasting orange dotted print paper in the same collection. I used Graceful Eyelets Borders dies by Amazing Paper Grace to cut two borders into the second paper layer to create a see through effect with the first layer. I also used the edge insert that comes in the die set to cut an actual border strip that goes along the center of the card. I did use the same border die in the center of it, but the linen ribbon ended up covering most of it.  Speaking of the ribbon, I stamped "Thankful" on it with orange ink repeatedly and tied it around the middle of the card. I then stamped "Give Thanks" onto a a tag I cut using the Francesca Labels dies, punched a small hole in it and hung it from the bow using some jute twine My finishing touches are some fabric leaves, a small linen flower and wood dots.

Thank you for visiting today, hope you have a lovely week!
