Oh Baby!

Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was great! I'm still waiting on Autumn temperatures here in Georgia, hopefully they will be with us soon! I took a break from fall card making to make a cute baby card for you using dies from Becca Feeken of Amazing Paper Grace.

In the last few weeks, I've been showing you ways to use the border dies in Becca's collection. She has a wide array of them and some can be used not only as borders. My example today shows how one of the dies from Graceful Eyelets can be used to make a die cut panel. To me, eyelet is synonymous with baby projects. I took a blue card stock panel and began die cutting the panel over and over until it was full. I took the small looped border die from Graceful Brackets Border Dies and cut one edge of the panel for a finished look. I then layered this panel over a piece of patterned paper and adhered it to  white card. I then embellished it with white silk ribbon, die cuts, and small flowers.

I think it turned out really cute! Perfect for a little boy! I hope you like my project, I enjoyed making it and figuring out neat ways to use dies in different ways Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!

  1. Kristi, this is so, so adorable! I love how you used the border to make a background. That card is vintage sweet and would likely end up in baby's memento book for safe keeping - it is timeless!
