Halloween Treat Boxes

Happy Monday once again! I hope you had a nice weekend. If you were in the path of Nate, I hope you are well and dry. Since October is upon us I thought, for my weekly post, I'd do a Halloween project for you using dies by Becca Feeken for Amazing Paper Grace.

I used the Mini Card Booklet/ Gift Box dies to create a pair of spooky Halloween treat boxes. These were so easy to make. You cut two of each die, do a little gluing and folding, and you are left with a nice size box for treats, favors, and other small objects.

I also used the Gossamer Knot Ensemble dies to make layers for the tops of the boxes. Each box was then wrapped with black velvet ribbon. I made a folded paper rosette for the tops, glued it to the ribbon, and added a Spooky cameo to the center of the rosettes. All you need to do is slip the ribbon off the box to open it.

I decorated the front of each box with glittered bat stickers for extra interest. You could go really crazy adding embellishments to these if you want to. I chose to keep it simple this time! I hope you like my project today. Thanks for stopping by and see you again really soon!
